Ken and Mary Beilharz purchased the Marathon Bulk Plant in Hancock County, Ohio July 1, 1977. With one truck and one desk in a very
small building the present Keneco Distributors was formed.
In 1981, Keneco Distributors, Inc. was established when the Gulf Oil Bulk Plant in Findlay, Ohio and the McComb Marathon Bulk Plant in McComb, Ohio were merged
into one company.
In 1983, Brad Beilharz entered the business and the Bluffton Marathon Bulk Plant was added to Keneco. Over the next five years, Keneco purchased the Marathon Wood
County Bulk Plant; Wayne, Ohio Bulk Plant; Van Wert, Ohio Bulk Plant and the Napoleon, Ohio Bulk Plant. A Bulk Oil storage facility was added in 1991 to supply automotive
industrial lubricants to Northwest Ohio. Eleven fuel routes were sold to local co-ops in 1996.

In 1993, the first automated Pacific Pride Commercial Fueling site was built on the west side of Findlay, Ohio at 1541 Harvard Avenue. A second site was added in 1997
on the east side of Findlay, located at 14856 OH-12.
September 1, 2006 Keneco moved to a larger facility located at 205 Stanford Parkway, Findlay, Ohio, their current location.
Today, Keneco’s focus is more on Marathon Dealers and the selling of bulk oil and lubricants throughout Northwest Ohio. We specialize in bulk industrial, automotive,
commercial, agricultural and food-grade lubricants. Cutting oils, water based coolants, compressor fluids, cleaners/degreasers, hydraulic oils, gear oils, way oils,
rust and corrosion inhibitors and grinding fluids is just a part of what Keneco offers their customers.
Currently Keneco Distributors, Inc. is owned and operated by the Beilharz family with Brad Beilharz as President.
